Please note:
The celebration of Día de los muertos (Day of the Dead) begins on October 31st and ends on November 2nd. In our Spanish classes, we will be learning about the holiday. As part of the festivities, I would love for the kids to try pan de muerto - a sweet, soft roll that is traditionally prepared and eaten as part of the celebration. In order to do so, I am asking that each student brings $1 to cover the costs. If you would like to help cover expenses, please have your child bring their contribution by Thursday, October 31st. Thank you for helping students learn about this interesting holiday! Focus: I understand what pan de muerto is and why it is important for Día de los muertos. Warm Up: Calendario. Tiempo. Hora.
HOMEWORK: Not an actual assignment, but pop some popcorn and watch Coco when you finish Trick or Treating. :) ***All missing assignments need to be submitted by 4:00 pm TOMORROW (11/1). Any work received after the deadline will be scored as a 1. Check Infinite Campus to see if you are missing anything. If you do submit any missing work, email me the name of the assignment. Please let me know what questions you have. As a reminder, I have Study Sessions every Tuesday morning from 8:00-8:20
