Today, students will bring home a form with the following information:
¡Hola! The celebration of Día de los muertos (Day of the Dead) begins on October 31st and ends on November 2nd. In our Spanish classes, we will be learning about the holiday. As part of the festivities, I would love for the kids to try pan de muerto - a sweet, soft roll that is traditionally prepared and eaten as part of the celebration. In order to do so, I am asking that each student brings $1 to cover the costs. If you would like to help cover expenses, please have your child bring their contribution by next Thursday, October 31st. Thank you for helping students learn about this interesting holiday! Focus: I can recognize that the traditions and customs for Dia de los muertos vary in different Latin American countries. Warm Up: Buenos Dias, Los números
